If you’re seriously thinking about buying Spanish Property in Costa del Sol then please read this blog. This is a plea from the heart or more importantly to you own financial resources.
As you know there has been a discount on the IVA payable on new build properties from 8% to 4% but this currently will not be available for any purchases that complete after 31 December 2011.
We currently have some amazing deals some that beggar belief and we have some clients planning to come in December or January and if they buy then they will have effectively lost between 10,000 and 50,000 Euros by not coming over and buying now. So if you are seriously interested in property for sale in Puerto Banus or property for sale in Mijas Costa now is the time
The real problem here is that these key ready new developments are already at their lowest point and are not negotiable so the 4% you effectively lose you won’t be able to get back from the developer come January.
So my advice is if you’re seriously considering buying bring forward your trip immediately. Flights are incredibly cheap right now as the hotels. To try and help you further I will reimburse your travel expenses if you buy on your visit.
So if you’re seriously considering taking advantage of some of the fantastic Key ready new developments get on a plane now. There is currently less than 30 working days to go.
